I guess all the aviation writers took the week off for the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. I didn’t find a single article I thought worthy of passing along to you. The only title that caught my eye turned out to be a book review – so in the spirit of Black Friday I’ll pass that along to you. maybe next week will bring a bit more aviation entertainment. I hope you all had a safe and sane holiday week.
Into the Blue – A book review
This is from the Wall Street Journal book review section. I saw the title of the article and thought it might be interesting, not knowing it was a book report until I clicked on the link. Joseph Corn has compiled sixty accounts aviation events involving individuals from Benjamin Franklin watching a balloon ascent to Buzz Aldrin walking on the moon. The events are described by the participants or spectators. Sounds like a fun book. Here is an affiliate link to buy it from Amazon if you’re so inclined.
